The exclusive wines of Familia Fernández Rivera pair well with traditional Castilian cuisine. The AF Pesquera has two dining options: haute cuisine at the restaurant Luna Llena and Taberna La Perla. The latter is better suited to more informal meals at the Hotel AF Pesquera.

Luna Llena

This restaurant, also located at the foot of Peñafiel Castle, serves contemporary creative cuisine with traditional flavours and the chef’s distinctive touch. To ensure the quality of its Castilian dishes, Luna Llena only uses locally grown and seasonal products. Dehesa de la Granja’s exceptional-quality products also take centre stage:  D.O. Fuentesaúco chickpeas, extra virgin olive oil, Dehesa de la Granja’s semi-hard cheeses and churra suckling lamb. The restaurant’s wine list features the wines of Familia Fernández Rivera, as well as delicious cavas and champagnes. The average price per person is €45.00.

La Perla

The Hotel AF Pesquera’s pub owes its name to the old flour factory that once stood where the hotel is today. La Perla serves traditional Spanish tapas and good-quality informal meals, which bring out the best in the wines made by Familia Fernández Rivera. The average price is €25.00 per person and its famous tapas include its ham and boletus mushroom croquettes, its different gourmet burgers, and last but not the least, Dehesa de La Granja’s semi-hard cheese.

The WIne cellar

Given its location, the capital of Ribera del Duero, it simply wasn’t an option for the Hotel Pesquera AF to not have an area exclusively dedicated to wine: the wine cellar. A cosy and modern area reserved for diners who want to enjoy our most special set menus. The culinary offerings at the wine cellar of the Hotel Pesquera strikes just the right balance between wines and locally grown and seasonal products. This is evidenced by the special Wine and Tapas set menu served on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as our tasting menu with wine pairing. This was exclusively created for the hotel by Chef Oscar García from the Baluarte Restaurant in Soria (1 Michelin star). All set menus served in the wine cellar require pre-booking. This space also hosts wine tasting and cocktail making workshops for groups.
